Guys,
Basically yesterday our server was upgraded to SBS and IP addresses on clients were changed along with a few other thing.
OK, now I can't use some web pages correctly, most basic example is google.
Key something into the search and click Google Search......**** all happens
key it in and press enter, again nothing.
Some websites which have links don't work
Its not security issues, because i've tried this on other pc's/laptops in the building and these are fine.
I'm running 6.0.2800.1102IC of explorer, my laptop is Win2K service pack 4
Any ideas?
Shaun

Can any network pc access the net, or is this just a Google issue?
Which version of SBS is this? If it's SBS2k or SBS2003 Premium, remember to install the ISA Proxy client on each pc. Setup of each client should also tweak IE to use the ISA Proxy: http://servername port=8080.

I asusme that your network admin isn't restricting you? You could check that your IE6 security settings are set to default. Also check that your Internet advanced settings are the same as another pc.

You could also try using firefox. If that works then you know it must be something to do with the security settings in ie...

Check all the advanced security settings against another machine that works, and all are the same.

Anyway, its Friday and I'm going fecking home.
