Default Replacing Millenium with XP Pro

Will this require a HD format prior to installing XP Pro?

XP will volunteer to do it, but I'd advise you to do a format yourself first.

Just stick the disk in and it will guide you through formatting the HD.

Not necesary IIRC but very much recommended when you upgrade *ANY* version of windows.

If you haven't already done so, make a 6-10 gig partition for Windows, and another for all your data, then when you next reinstall you dont lose data.
