if u mean chipped, i use xbconnect, problem being you or someone else is the server and it can get laggy. With live ms use proper good dedicated servers so 16 player is possible.

www.xbconnect.com you can only play through system link. If your chip has a switch buy the originals and get live its much better.
Advantages to having a chipped xbox, getting the games that arent really worth 40 notes. Being able to play divx movies on your tv. Playing games b4 they are released over here, if at all ie Juiced.
