Guys,
How much does a decent upgrade cost? Ive got an old Dell dimension 550mb, pentium 3, very slow and crap want to upgrade - make it alot faster + more power...
Anyone know a)What I need....?

IMHO there isn't any point upgrading what you have got.
Start from scratch again.

Yup, I'd just buy a new base unit. Being a Dell, it could have an odd case layout so you might struggle to find bits to fit.

depends what you want to use it for, mine cost mer £600 for the bits, but i use it for gaming and a mate built it for me, so no labour costs.
