Fecking PC wont boot into Controller card no matter what I try.
SATA's plugged into mobo or not,
IDE's plugged into motherboard or not.
different cenario's cause different fails.
no discs plugged in other than controller card and it hangs on the point where it realises there is No O/S and tried to boot from cd.
Just get "Boot from Cd :" Flashing cursor "
If I plug in a HDD in either SATA on M/B or IDE on motherboard it gets past the "Boot from Cd" screen and hangs on the next "Setup is inspecting your hardware configuration" screen.
Any idea's apart from leave well alone / or risk putting it in the road and drive at it at 120mph..

APIC is now turned off.
Tried again, same scenario.![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Yes the controller card has recognised the disc,
Stumped.... maybe some beer will help the mind think
Any other ideas.![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)

I think a return of said controller card might be my best option at this point.
What other ways are there of connecting a couple of extra IDE HDD's into the system.
Already running
DVD and 2 x IDE HDD's
