Default Someone has hacked my young 'un's MSN !!!

Right bear with me here please

I logged on to msn 2 weeks ago & i was talking to someone who i thought was my little brother, but i had to question some of the things he was saying, so i phoned my mother (who he stays with) & asked her, she confirmed a few things & that was that, now he is only 12 & talks to people from his school on it !!!!!!!!!!!

So he was staying with me on saturday night & i was on the laptop & he logged in so i thought he was on the pc in the next room & 'lo and behold he appeared in the room, which i thought was strange, then he tells me someone is using he msn & he doesnt no who it was

Basically this little ****** has been using his msn & emailing all his friends with cheeky remarks & blah blah

So how do i get this sorted & this little idiot banned or how do i find out who it is ??

IP ???

Please help because i want to slap there dad

Stephen

Change your username.

Email MS to disable the account.

Job done.

Probably another kid at school got his password and thought they'd do what schoolkids do. Try changing password and see if that stops it (and make sure he uses something that a) isn't guessable and b) he doesn't tell anyone what it is).

If it's a 'hack' then get a new account.

Click on forgot password. You should be able to get a new one emailed or reset.

Same thing happened to my stepdaughter so I just opened her a new account and disabled the old one. The problem can arise when they log into their accounts round at friends' houses as it sometimes saves the password depending on the cookie settings. Just tell him to use it at home only and not to dish his password out.
