FAO JackClark or EPO Admin's
Another question for people out there..
I was checking to see if the agent was installed by doing the following in our login script..
However if VirusScan 7 - 8 is installed then this has the framework package at the correct version.
Is there a file / reg key I can check for to see if its being managed by EPO?? Ie, if this file isnt there then its either not managed or on the old version of the agent??
Its just we are going to be doing a new build for another site and the the build wont have the epo package on it prior to roll out.
And I dont want to import the domain, it needs to remain in the script.

I might be missing something here as I don't work on ePO, but didn't we produce a 'rouge machine' update a while a go that does this task for you?
Will send a link to this post to a collegue as well.

You can do rouge machine detection, which will detect unmanaged subnets, but we like to control the distribution to servers.
Like I say its more like a business requirement.. Are business has some odd requirements.
IE domains that are behind firewalls on different subnets with only two ports open etc..
