Mum needs a basic printer, usb. Needs to be colour, and basic photo quality.

Any suggestions? Epson C66 seems reasonable at £50, but any other ideas, perhaps cheaper....?

You can get an epson r200 for £60 in vat on www.ebuyer.co.uk at the moment.


It has 6 individual inks 5760dpi and can print on the faces of CDs and DVD's where compatible.

I can get inks for about £7 a set from the likes of diskdepot.co.uk.

canon i250 from ebuyer cost about £30 black ink are £1.99 colours are 3.0 odd but not bad for photos

 

Epson StylusC46 - £35 from PCWorld Business (and a few other online places) and prints amazingly well - also does Photos to an impressive quality...look just like proper photos.
