Question Nildram 2Mbps Broadband????

Has anyone tried this broadband provider. They do 2Mbps download speed with 1GB of data transfer for 17.99 a month. They call this Broadband 2gO. Is sounds like a very good deal to me or am I missing something.

Same as Eclipse who also offer this service, only they do 2GB a month for that cost. Since seeing them recommended on this site I switched and have found Eclipse excellent - the 2mg download is confirmed by my speed tests and works a treat.

If I am reading this right they have a 1GB limit on d/l per month?
So it a "pay but don't use" service then?

I use Nildram, i have 1meg connection, no dl limit cap.. Very fast pul in about 135k/sec on it. I allso use it for onlince games, as Nildram are one of the best gamers isp's you can get.

I've just signed up with metronet on their 2mb service. They have pay as you go but a cap at about £36 if you pull down more than 7GB. I commonly see over 200Kbps.

Can anyone tell me how I can find out my monthly usage?

I have Nildrams £22.99/month unlimited service, but if i'm not using much bandwidth I could pay less for faster speeds...

I'm one of a very lucky few (well one of 4 mill UK homes ) who gets 8mb broadband connection with a 500GB download limit, 33:1 contention for £39.99 a month

should be running by 7/2/05
