To get the best you have to pay, easynews.com cost £5.90 per 10gig, easynews, giganews etc. basically allow you access to all the binary newsgroups...but like i say, its costs.....If you do decide to use one of them, then get yourself a copy of winRar and quickPar...

You should try www.blockbuster.co.uk, it'll save you time and money. Even better junk the PC and visit your local shop. If you just have to see a film before it's release date, try adding a month to your calender, it'll be weird at first but you'll get used to it. Then you can impress you're mates by saying "Yeah, saw that last month mate" I'm sure they'll be so impressed their baseball cap will fall off.

Disclaimer: If you're using newsgroups to download legaly distributed films the above does not apply. If you're not busy list them and thier location.

JackClark... newsgroups are not for downloading movies... that's where Bittorrent comes in handy... newsgroups are for software and **** primarily

Tell Pongo he's looking for "Divx or XVid films"

Anyone found 'On Track Nurburgring' yet? Also looking for the single from that bloke who won some TV contest, the one where all profits are going to Tsunami relief, bugger paying for that! You can keep your copies of Live Aid, that's rubbish.

You should go the full hog, rather than robbing from the artists to pay the ISP's, get a wireless card and park outside someone elses house to do your downloading. Bugger paying £25.00! Are you mad!! You can spend that on another can of wife beater.

No worries, you'll get more information on law breaking here than you would from a week in the scrubs.

Anyone got their own Bot Net? Why use your bandwidth and processing power to download illegal files when you can use someone elses! Use one machine per download, get a good few machines on board and you'll be downloading Gigabits an hour for free. Combine the above with local wireless networks and you could drive around picking up your Warez, as easy as your favorite drive in McDonalds and just as tasty.

Thats actually not a bad idea, and something i have been thinking about for a while now. I have also been thinking of distributed downloads, similar to the likes of Kazaa, eDonkey, BitTorrent, except that we could use a farm of PC's to harvest all the files, each PC getting a peice of the file, with one backend PC recreating the jigsaw. The aim ? to have internet on my hard disk !
