Question MP3 questions

I've just bought a phone that plays MP3's (Sony Ericsson Z1010 3G thingy) and it's a whole new world to me so here's a few questions

Can I convert my stored WMA files into MP3's to play on my phone?

Where is a good source of music?

Am I better off downloading from web to pc then onto phone via cable/bluetooth?

Or straight from web to phone?

I'm trying really hard to keep up with technology but I'm getting on a bit and it's hard

Cheers

Sal

Your phone may be able to play the wma files directly so try copying them across to the phone and see if you can play them. If not I'm not sure which converter is best so perhaps someone else can suggest one.

Much better off downloading them from the net and then copying them to the phone as it will be much harder if not impossible to find music on the phone and if you do it will likely be expensive to download it compared to a home broadband connection for example. The tracks shouldn't take that long to copy to the phone via USB.

Sal,

If you're new phone has a card it's miles quicker to plug it into a card reader to transfer files. I put 5 CD's onto my Nokia in seconds!

My finger is now hovering over the 'buy' button for a card reader
