Question PC and PS2 on network

Had that done before using a router, but router stoped working and now I'm using Speed touch USB modem to get on the net with my PC.

The problem I have is where to plug the PS2???

I also have a D-Link DFE-816 hub at home, but as I never used hubs I have no idea home to set it up.

Please someone help me out.

Thanks
Robert

I'd suggest replacing the USB modem with a proper adsl router and then plug the PS2 into that. Basically just like you had it setup with your old router.

If you have a network card in your PC you can enable Internet Connection Sharing - ICS - plug your PS2 into your PC and voila.

I've tried that but the "local area connection" says that the cable is unpluged
and the PS2 is saying the same

Well you now know that it's the wrong one, the one you want wouldn't work with the router.

No probs, if you need a crossover cable making up, let me know how long and I'll pop on in the post.
