Since 'nova has been shut down, the dev team were working on an alternate way to distribute data.

They have a new software package - exeem. The original package contains spyware - much like kazaa - you can get the exeemlite version from the link above.

Yep and it *was* working like a charm, in the last couple of days it seems to have died all my partial downloads dont seem to get any further now.

it seems to have a few problems needs a couple of registry hacks to work properly but it is ONLY a beta test.

 

Is the full version crippled if you install it , then strip the spyware ?

Why? exeemlite has all the spyware stripped out of it already.

 

the lite version isn't connecting ( I just checked ) , wanted to verify that they haven't changed something so the 'lite' version can't connect....

 

Have a look at the forum, as I said there a couple of registry hacks and then it downloads fine.

I love this, you people spend so much time and money downloading new warez you might as well have used the post office for your file sharing, complete and utter waste of time.
