Default Hard Drive not recognised - Data recovery companies?

Oh Dear. I have one dead hard drive on my desk which has about 10gb worth of data on it i need get recovered.

Any suggestions of reliable companies i can use?

This company is well recommended. I have had quite a few drives recovered by them and they are very helpful, but you will be looking a round £1000 for the pleasure.

Loads available as well as self help tools, I think it's Burr on here does that kind of stuff, maybe he can advise from a profesisonal point of view....

These guys have quoted for Non Urgent Service (7 Days): £340 for a 20gb disk.

Seems pretty reasonable, everyone else seems to be around the 500 - 600 Mark
