I'm trying to get BackUpExec to run a Grand-Father-Son cycle but the schedules don't appear to allow it. Well they do allow it but it looks like you have to enter the dates by hand. i.e set the monthly job to execute on the last working day of the month as the only options that is available is last day of the month and this constantly falls on the weekend.
And as some months have 31 days in spread across 5 weeks (like March) this throws the scheduling out of sync, as if you set the Daily jobs to run on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th weeks, it can't determine when the last day of the month is so it runs the daily job on the last day of the month on Thursday 31st. So 2 jobs run on Thursday 31st!!
How have you configured your backup?![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
I'm getting bored now!!
