My friend has a PC that when she wants to connect to the internet she has to trail a cable across the length of the living room & plug it into the phone line !!
This she says is beginning to annoy her a little & with it near impossible to connect the cable against skirting boards due to the type of flooring she has
So can she get the wireless networking router that i have with my laptop to use with her computer ??
I hope this makes sense & i hope someone can help

Yup! - many brands about...
Easy USB connector is available - just install router and connect via USB wireless adaptor instead of cable - easy peasy!
I use a Netgear DG834G 54Mbps - can now get GT version twice as fast (if you need it) cost less than £100 for both components packaged together...
