Looks like my Buffalo G54 Airstation has packed up - the wired 4 port switch is still working, but I can't get anything with wireless. I know that my PCMCIA wireless card and Centrino enabled laptop are working as I can detect my next door neighbour's WLAN! SO, after fiddling about, I'm thinking that it might be time to replace the unit. What are people using at the moment?
Spec wise - doesn't have to the latest and greatest, as I'm limited on what I can do by the Centrino card.
Thanks
Chris

I've had two Linksys/Cisco wireless routers, no problems, latest one - can't remember the model - runs Linux and can be flashed with all sorts of fun stuff.

Thanks guys. Draytek looks good, but expensive. The cable version is nearly £160! I've seen the D-Link DWL-926 Super G Bundle which looks pretty good at around £80 delivered for the router and PCMCIA card.

Got 2 WRT54GS and if you get a 3rd party version of the firmware from www.linksysinfo.org or www.sveasoft.com they are brillaint. No problems at all with wireless or wired connectivity and pretty cheap as well.
I tried the D-Link stuff and that really is a joke, it can't keep the time, let alone keep a network connection running.

Personally, I'd stay away from D-link. Heard some stories from their engineers.
I'd normally recommend Netgear but mine (and a few others) have been playing up recently.
We also use a Belkin one - cheap and reliable, but not wall mountable for some reason.
