Hey peeps, anybody use or know of any easy to use, preferably free or cheap software for creating sites on a mac...??

Any comments on Dreamweaver?

Depends really, if you want WYSIWIG then Dreamweaver is your best option, even though its sloooow.

If you can hand code then there are so many cool apps like SubETHAedit, Skedit, BBEdit, and HyperEdit. All are shareware apps and all are really good. My personal preference is SKedit.

Dreamweaver, seconded. It's not slow if u have a dual G5 and 1GB memory

If I had to use a dev prog then it'd be dreamweaver, it's pretty good. Usually I code my websites by hand using BBEdit.

I'd vote for Dreamweaver, still trying to learn how to use it properly though.

Don't forget Freeway which is probably easier to use from what I've seen. I used DW myself only because I got it for nothing.
