Help - I;m looking for recommendations for an all in one DSL Router / Switch / Wifi - must be 54g min and support all the current encryption std.
I've been using a DLink 604+ (22mbps) but it doesnt seem very good at doing WEP over none DLink cards - so I thought I'd look for a new one and palm mine off on my dad![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Any recommendations ? I want a min of 4 wired ports + the modem connection.
Cheers

My WAG54G is getting swapped by LinkSys but I doubt the replacement will be any better. Nothing but grief on the wireless stability and then mine did nothing but reboot it's self. Bag of spanners - avoid IMHO.

we've got a netgear wifi router connected to a cable modem and its been giving a lot of problems recently.
wont connect without the router and the wifi pc being rebooted. getting to be a real PITA.

Netgear DG834G - blinding piece of kit and a piece of p1ss to set up.
The web interface isn't the prettiest but everything works and it's dead reliable. The wireless utility was designed by a dyslexic bloke but that aside, it's great. I've since put SP2 on my laptop and I use the wireless utility that gives to manage the connection. Best of both worlds.
Cheers

PS - Edited to say, I don't have a cable modem.

Linksys WAG54G...runs off crying and gnashing of teeth.........![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
As one poster in a tech forum once said:- Type WAG54G + favourite swearword of choice into Google and smile at the results.....
Linksys *really* dropped the ball with this one and pissed off a LOT of people. Me included
