Default windows repair

want to do as above but can't remember how to boot up from cd rom drive. lol done it before but memory no good, any idea's thanks

When you boot your PC you need to enter the BIOS (usually press delete when the power on self testing comes up) There should be boot options listed in one the menus - change it so it boots from the CD first

also, once you've configured the BIOS, the XP cd itself will want you to "press any key" to actually boot of it.

it's asking me for the (Administrator password) any idea's

If you don't have an admistrator password, do you actually have a right to do this? If it's the BIOS password it can be removed though.
