orange email - what is my username?

orange email - what is my username?
Tried to setup Orange email - but can't get through... Not sure what they class as my username - should it be the phone No., the first bit of my email address, my full email address, my own name?????
Can't seem to get it to connect - I have tried downloading the settings a couple of times! The help line 156 doesn't seem to connect... (PAYG phone)

My user name is smilar to the beginning of the email address....... However, it is different.
You would have created this when you created your email account settings on the web......
my email = taylor.pi @ Orange
My user id = pi.taylor
