Default what all in 1 printer

anyone recomend me a cheap to buy and cheap to run (ink)
all in one which must have fax as well

The answer is always going to be HP; look for an OfficeJet rather than a 'PSC'.

hp ink is too expensive though about £18+

I too have been looking at getting an all in one, incl fax
I quite like the look of the quite flatish Brother ones, haven't quite decided yet

i decided what i'm gonna get

a brother MFC210 which is on offer at pcworld (web) half price at the moment.(weekend)
it does colour photocopies.fax,as well as memory card reader

it is £59.99 now and ink is about £3 each

hey, i do my research on these

epson rx500 or its small er brother the 420 (which doesnt do scans me thinks). As above really I never buy HP (apart from lasers) because the consumables are dearer than other manufacturers.

bought mine today

its brilliant
does copy b+w/colour fax, scanner, printer
and it reads cf sd and mmc cards

it uses four different colour ink carts.

it is smaller prettier and quieter than my old canon mp20

i bought it at pcworld branh with my newspaper (voucher)cutting
and paid half price
whilst the guy behind me without the voucher paid full

last day tomorrow , if you haven't got a voucher you have to buy on the net for half price., or maybe just ask nicely
