Whats the best package for altering Pics?
Hi all,
just wondering whats the best package for messing with your photo's?
I'm thinking about buying Adobe photoshop CS v8.0?
Any advice much appreciated, cheers brent

I've used Photoshop from the very first version. I just can't seem to use anything else now.

photoshop is the daddy! no doubt! but depending on what u want to do.. Paintshop Pro (no not windows pain) is just as good if u just want to begginer.. Much easier to get to grips with.. and can do most of the more common things adobe does

I use Photoshop CS2 (just upgraded from CS). As said elsewhere, it's the best out there by a long way. If you just want basic stuff, then PSP is ok, but the old addage "You get what you pay for" definitely applys....

CS2 is phenomenal. Been using it here for a few weeks now and it truly blows away CS which was head and shoulders above everything else when it was released.
Photoshop elements is good if you don't want to be too advanced.
