can't get my usb card reader to work. please help!!
can anyone shed any light as to why this bloody thing won't work?
installed driver software as intructed and nothing, nadda. the software is there as i can select it in the remove programmes bit.
does something need switching on?
works in the laptop, but this is running windows 2000 and doesn't need a driver to work it.
desparate to get some pics onto my new comp and can't fookin do it
any ideas??
(computer newbie, so feel free to call me a **** if it's something obvious)

1).. Have you checked your USB is actually switched on in your Computers BIOS? (The BIOS can be accessed when you first switch on your computer and tells you to press either:
F1 for Set-up
F2 for set-up
Del for set-up
2).. Have you had a look in your Windows Device manager (Right click my computer icon and then select properties etc.. for any USB devices that show a yellow ! next to the name in the device list?
3).. If no.1 is okay do you know if the USB ports work in the first place?
