Dell dimension stops recognising internet
Hi all,
My dimension machine at work connects fine to BT broadband and you can happily check mail surf web etc but if it is left for any amount of time then it will stop recognising the internet connection and give the usual "cannot find website" etc, the uplink light on the modem stays green whilst this is happening.
The only way to get back on the net is to disconnect the connection then redial up then it works great again.
Problem is when doing online banking it stops responding then you have to redial and find the bank has kicked out you connection thus losing all your work.
Any Ideas
