Unhappy How to remove MSNNAMES.EXE Virus

My NIS has advised that their is a Trojan attached to this file, but it can't remove it. Ran NIS scan in safe mode and still no luck.

Does anyone know how to remove this infection? Symnatec don't even list it on their site....

Did it give you the option to delete the offending file. The reason Norton can't "remove" it is that it's a bad as a whole rather than just a nasty piece of code inserted into a file you might want to keep.

There was no option to delete the file, it just advised it couldn't remove it.

What should I do now?

Do you know where the file is? If so, try deleting it, try safe mode if you have to.
