Question How do I get rid of the silent gap when burning mixed CDs?

I've asked this before but have forgotten the answer! I'm using WMP 10 and have burnt a cd of mixed tunes. I now have a nice second or so gap between them all

I've also got iTunes which I think allows you to cancel the gap but I can't remember what the term is in the settings.

Should I just find a copy of Nero instead??

I can get rid of the gap in itunes but now the tunes are in the wrong order ie. last one first, so how do I change that?

when you select them start witht he last track, hold shift and select the frist track?

I find what even with removing the 1 second gap there is a very small gap still audible. it's annoying!

I thought you'd just sort them into the order you want...

FYI, It's to do with the "Red Book" standard for CDs. However, I can't help, as I'm a Mac man

I've given up with iTunes and WMP and dowloaded a little program called CDClone which seems to have done the trick. It's nice and simple with no fancy stuff and does just what it says on the tin with the minimum of fuss which suits me

I forget the actual setting, but it is something like "write all at once" rather than "write one at a time" 'cos the former streams to the CD whilst the latter inserts a gap between "files".

Sorry about the "generic" answer, but that sounds like what is up!

nero allows you to remove the gaps between songs.

Select DAO -Disc At Once- writing. TAO -Track At Once- adds a 2 second gap.
