Daryl, do you have an account with the Woolies website? This might be giving you a preorder discount or such like.

On a side note... Amazon are selling some PSP games such as Coded Arms, Colin McRae, Ridge Racer, Need For Speed for £25.99 which is the cheapest I've found so far. They *did* have Virtua Tennis at that price last week but when I went to order it today its rose to £29.99 Loved VT and I need a new game as I've nearly completed Hot Shots Golf and Ridge Racer.

How come if youre a wanadoo customer you get 10% off?? Do you have to do anything before confirming the order like type in a customer number or anything?

No, I'm not a Wanadoo customer and I've ordered one

It's just one of those things that's open to anybody.

mines gathering dust on the shelf at the moment - distinct lack of any decent games (aside from the 30 min wonder "Ridge racer". Coded arms is v v poor - dont waste your money on this.

Been covered heaps before I know but is it better/cheaper to buy a Japanese or US one or a UK one now? I gather the Japanese one has a better screen and is R2 for movies. Will the games always be region free?

give me a second and I'll get my crystal ***** out

short answer is don't know. But UK/Jap should be the same region code (2) is it does get locked in the future. I haven't seen anything about a Euro UMD movie playing on Jap psp yet.

got a jap one with spiderman 2 ..the picture quality on the films is unreal .

got underground and twisted metal as above says games arnt really that good
at the moment ..car games seem to fast for the size of the screen ..
in nfs underground you hit turbo .. need a eye test ..goes so fast ..
but its only fresh in the uk ..theres a internet browser in hongkong now for it
and 5.1 surround systems that you can place it into ..EARLY DAYS FOR IT YET....YOU CAN GET 1 GIG mem cards for it from ebay ..cheepest about £70

You can turn off the blurring on NFSU, that way you'll save some cash on an eye test. If it's the Jap version you have there are translation screens you can find on Google.
