PSP Wireless Router Problem

Im trying to connect my PSP to my wireless Net Gear router
Have put the SSID and Wep in all fine, but the PSP is saying "the attempt to obtain the IP address is time out"
Any ideas?
Ive tried messing with the IP address' but have no real idea what is what!
Please help!

I assume you have dhcp enabled on the router??
Do you have mac address filtering turned on on the router?
Have you added the mac address of the PSP into the router if so?

Which model router do you have. I have the ADSL DG834G router so maybe able to help.
Log onto your router and go to the wireless setting page.
Under Wireless Network, is the mode g & b
Under Wireless Access Point, have you got "Enable Wireless Access Point" ticked
As Nick said, have you enabled the Wireless Station Access List which sets which devices are allowed to connect to the router.
Did you put in the SSID manually or did you scan for it. It might be easier to scan for the network then when you are setup, stop broadcasting the SSID.
