Help with Virus

Hi guys, my fathers pc seems infected, ovrtyping on his user ID / phone number when logging onto net / emails - I can resolve that, BUT when connection is made, PC brings up blue screen error messages, and finishes with USBN has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL etc etc.

I'm sure it's a common problem (or I hope it is !!) - but where can I patch to fix ????

Sounds like less trouble to reinstall.

Not sure that's an option as we don't have the original disks - any other ideas...anyone ?

usbn.exe is a Adult content dialer go here:- http://www.microsoft.com/athome/secu...e/default.mspx
and download it run full scan.

Also go here and download the stinger:- http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

you should be ok after this.
