Implementing FAX in Win XP
For the life of me I can't get FAX to work in my Windows XP..... can anyone help?
I have:
Run "FAX" from add Software (Windows Components);
Enabled "Telephony";
Confirmed that the PC can communicate with the (internal) MODEM using Hardware Management;
Ensured that Remote Call Procedure is started.
FAX Console refuses to show under Start>programs>accessories>communicatuions>fax
and
FAX refuses to start under Administration - Services, saying that there's a dependency missing
Thought I'd done pretty well to get that far, as it is......

Implementing FAX in Windows XP
Bump for the beginning of the week. Could it be a problem with my Firewall - do I need to open a specific Port which it might have closed??
