Can anyone recommend a basic to advanced level book?

Need to really start learning so i can get promoted quicker :d

There are some really good sites on the internet that offer tutorials and hints and tips etc. I do a fair bit of code in VB and have a lot of experience using it in excel. Most of the tricky stuff I have learned from the net. Once you get into it you'll be suprised what is possible. Good luck

A good tip is use Excel to record a macro and then hit Alt-F11 to view the code generated for the macro

Also check out MrExcel a wonderful place. As you get used to the basics you won't need the book at all.
