Default Excel save as web page - contains autofilter, but dont want excel installed!

Any really quick solutions?

Need to save some info as a web page and have the 'autofilter' feature. Any ideas?? Installing the excel viewer isnt an option either.

David,

I guess you want to display the data as a table so it is possible to copy the excel data into a blank web page and then carry out a global find and replace, replacing tabs with </td><td> then putting <tr><td> at the start of each line and </td></tr> at the end of each line. Enclose that in <table></table> tag and job done.

Alternatively, run the excel "save as html" and then copy out the data from the source and post it into a balnk web page so it doesn't try to install any excel plug-ins.

you could go to exceleverywhere.com they do a fantastic little excel conversion tool that creates web pages with basic macros being converted to javascript, its only about 70 bucks.
