Default Can I tell where an email is originating?

I bought some stuff of a guy that has turned out to be crap quality, and he's trying to get me to return it to China as he says he's not UK based and is, in fact, in China.

Is there any way I can tell from the emails I have received from him where they are originating?

Thanks,
Simon.

You could look at the headers, but they can be forged easily and if the email has been directed through a couple of unsuspecting (and normally innocent) mail forwarders then it is very difficult to trace.

Thanks for the reply Chris, I think the 'I'm in China' response is something he's just come up with so doubt his tracks are covered. There doesn't appear to be anything in the header, no IP address or anything???
