Hi all,
I have just sold my Powerbook to a friend who has a wireless network and he is trying to join it. I am under the impression it should link u relatively easily but he is having problems. We have the password etc etc but I was wondering if there is anything we should be doing that we may have forgotten?!
It used to be on my network so this ay be causing problems...
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Best,
Mossman

G3 or G4?
OSX or OS9?
Airport card or 3rd party USB thingy?
If OSX, does the '1/4 pizza slice' show any signal in the top right?
Click on the icon, any network names shown?
If the Mac is expecting an IP address to be supplied - Does the router have DHCP enabled?
