Network Hard Drive for Mac and Windows
Is there such a thing, and if so, where can I find one!
Switching to iMac but want a medium to store info on my home network which I can access using both the Mac and my laptop.
Checked out some netword drives already but none seem to specify Mac capability.

As Rich says, a Mac can connect to PC shares/machines if you're running OS X, so the PC only network drives should be accessible to the Mac with no issues at all.

there are loads of NAS boxes out there that support both mac and windows.
the lacie drive is a good example.
Lacie mini ethernet disc.
just remember to format it using the extend 3 format, so it supports both os's and also long file names. it comes with usb2 and ethernet connections, but word of warning, format it with the extend format and you cant attach it via usb2 any longer. but...it works fine after that.
if you dont like lacie, try iomega, they do loads of cheap (ish) solutions for both platforms.

Thanks for that guys
I want to have the minimum amount of sensitive information on my laptop so want to have that on the "Home" machine. with the laptop basically running with just MS Office.
I will have Office on the Mac also and was thinking a shared Network drive would be a good solution as I didn't really want both machines on at the same time when at home.
Also was thinking to put a lot of music on there for when the I work out getting the house completely wireless.
