Here's what I want for the new house..
1 wireless network probably utilising NTL broadband with the following connections for now:
2 x PC's and 2 x printers (I assume I can print to either printer off a wireless network)
But also to add in the future:
1 x media centre PC
1 x laptop
Anything else I may be missing?
What hardware do I need and any recommendations?
Cheers

that is well liked on other forums
printing via wireless should be ok if printers support it, or if its on the back of someones machine
only use wireless if you need to, if it can be cabled....cable it
if you do use wireless use WPA encryption if equipment permits

You will need to buy wireless network cards for the PCs, and a wireless network PCMCIA cardbus card for the laptop. You'll also need a router, by the looks of things you'll need one with a built-in print server (or buy a seperate print server to connect to the router) Running two printers from the network might be a problem though, as print server routers can usually only run one printer. So you may have to have one printer connected directly to one of your PCs - which will mean the other machines will only be able to use it when that machine is switched on.
I usually use Netgear stuff at home, but I recently set up a wireless network with print server at my parents' house and used US Robotics equipment which is pretty cheap and cheerful.
