£200 for a HD drive seems a bit pricey, but I suppose it is new technology. Wonder if it'll have any issues

Doesn't sound that pricey to me tbh. When the first dvd drives appeared they were a similar price, (as were dvd players).
Still don't see the point yet though. It's still a niche market despite what Sony and MS want you to believe. The percentage of people out there who actually own a HD tv at the moment is very small, and as such there won't be much worth buying for them for quite some time yet.
Personally, I'm waiting until the format war dies down...
