Anyone have any good advice to give a 15 year old lad (not me) on how to go about getting into the business of editing together footage for television, primarily sport (football).
A friends son is into it but is struggling to find a way to find out where to start.
Dorset based makes it a lot harder but any pointers welcome.
Probably not the best forum for this perhaps but worth a try.

Assuming he is doing it on a computer, i would go along the lines of editing and posting his completed videos on a youtube type site.
He could then recieve feedback/comments about the quality of his videos and may even get noticed.
Doesn't take long for t'internet to spread the word.
