Gapless is a bonus, I thought at first it might be hardware specific, but it would appear not to be, seems it's a software thing, which makes sense. iTunes is currently running through my Library "Determining Gapless Playback Information", so I shall have a play in 5 mins when it's finished.
Movies, should be interesting, hopefully more studios will come online as well.

For anyone wanting to enable Gapless playback:
To override Crossfade Playback for specific songs:
In iTunes, select a song and choose File > Get Info.
Click Options.
Select "Part of a gapless album."
Tip: You can select all the songs at once (press Command as you select them), choose File > Get Info, and then choose Yes from the Gapless Album pop-up menu.

messiah,
No idea, though I'd guess it would keep the original artwork as I thought it was on a track by track basis, and also the artwork isn't being automatically updated. I guess if you changed the tracks album, then selected that track and use the command to download artwork then it would change.
I do like the new look iPod interface in iTunes.
I would have liked to have seen smart playlists updated to allow an "Artwork" item, so you can create a playlist that contains all tracks that do/do not have artwork.

album artwork not exactly faultless - some images are pretty poor and its identified some albums as its individual tracks ![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
PS - does anyone know if there is a default image size / resoution?

Looks as though Gapless playback might be hardware dependant, my 4G iPod does not seem to support Gapless Playback, even though I have enabled the Gapless option for an album (yes the album is meant to be gapless, I'm not that silly
). Rosie's Nano does seem to play the same album gapless, well, I think it does, she's wandered off with it so I can't double check right now.
So I'm guessing that you'll need G1 or later Nano's and G5 or later iPods for gapless to work.
One does hope this is simply until an iPod updater is available to address this.
