Can an NTL digi box be repaired?
Basically my NTL box has decided to go into standby mode the minute you turn it on and not even the remote works.Can this be repaired or is it a case of ditching the box completely.It is an *ahem* modified box

IIRC they are either Samsung or (the crappy other one)
Either way, do a search for your model on the net, for doing a diag/reset
I had to do this almost weekly with my old legit box; either that or phone up the ntl customer don't-care line for days on end.................................
Holding down the up/down buttons when switching on forced a cold boot that cleared the lockups that nearly always happened over night (upgrades?)
