Question IE CRASHES

Does anyone elses internet explorer crash when you open a picture/video file in a new window and then close it. Mines seems to do it all the time, and only on scoobynet.

Anyone know why?

my pc downloaded an update while i was sleeping a few weeks back and my IE kept on crashing for a long time afterwards

usual checks and scans brought up nothing, found a few more with the same problems via google and traced it back to a dodgy security update.

i just stopped using IE and moved to firefox for a while, and after a few more updates/downloads, it sorted itself out

Have to agree with Firefox ... the Beta 2 version is a fine, fine browser.

So don't bother trying to fix it.. just download Firefox.. Here

I have been having this trouble, but I put it down to the fact that I am using IE7, Release Candidate1. Maybe the problem is deeper than that?

another firefox convert. if you need to display pages in IE there is actually a function in firefox to do this. great browser especially with the tabbed browsing. can anyone give me a comparison with IE 7 for Windows Vista. is it as good as the firefox version?

cheers

I'm running Vista RC1 and the embedded IE is a great improvement over 6. It looks swish.. but it's still not as clean, lean or as quick as Firefox, IMO of course.
