screen tearing issue - winxp sp2 / radeon 9800 Pro
Since coming back from my hols, and leaving the computer off for 3 weeks, I find its exhibiting some strange screen tearing problems during normal use in Windows.
Isn't happening all the time - I first noticed it after the computer had been on for an hour, when the straight edges of the browser window became "spiked" looking and moving around like they were being subject to electrical interference.
Checked all the cables and stuff and its fine.
Just wondering whether the 2 year old Radeon needs changing (its firmly in place) and connected to my LCD via a DVI cable.
Perhpas it could be a CPU issue - Athlon 2800 XP - but I'm not getting any software errors or BSODS - just display issues.
