Hi Guys,
You might remember I posted a while back aasking for review of www.drc.uk.com? Well this time I need a techie to look at it.
I get good rankings in MSN but Google has ignored me completely and Yahoo just has the home page listed.
I tried a service called Poodle which claims to search your site like google might. This shows some interesting findings - 500 Can't connect to www.drc.uk.comresidential.html:80 (Bad hostname 'www.drc.uk.comresidential.html') No h1,h2,h3 Headings found.
In retrospect I remember RichB saying something about bad tags or something but there is an entry for H1 in the meta tag? confused
The hostname doesnt look right to me anyway surely I am missing a forward slash?
I'll obviously bring this up with the SEO people but thought I may get some joy over the weekend here.
Any help greatfully appreciated, I'm welll over my head!
Dave

Have you added it to Google manually Dave?
http://www.google.com/addurl/
I've just done it anyway so no need to bother...
If you don't have any links to your site from other sites Google may simply not know about you.
Remember I told you about the fact they hadn't done much in the way of SEO stuff - well they still haven't...
If you want to give me a shout again Dave - feel free...

I think your on a loser from the start. I like the name but for SEO it is not the best.....discreet returns 'sex aid' and remote control brings up pretty much every techie web site in the world....
Gonna have to work some to get that up the rankings in google. Not sure what to suggest, and I am sure you dont want to change your name?
