![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I need some more ram, and I know I need PC3200 DDR SDRAM, but how do I find out if the current stuff is ECC or non ECC? It says I shouldn't mix.
Is the only way to open up my case and look at one of the modules, or can I find out with some software?
Cheers

Mmmm, on the Crucial website, it says "be sure not to mix Ecc and non-ECC", but in the compatible upgrades, it lists both! It doesn't actually tell me what mine is, only compatible upgrades, which contradicts what they say further up.......... ![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
