My Liteon 5005 packed up recently and I replaced the DVD RW drive...
It seemed to work oncee or twice then it's failing again....
So time for a new one.......
I know there are MANY out there that offer:
DVD RW only
DVD RW & VHS
DVD RW & HDD
DVD RW & Freeview
DVD RW & HDD & Freeview
I'm not too apposed to having any of the above (with the exception to the VHS one - as I don't have any VHS.....)
I have Sky + if that sways any recommendations.............. but Primarily I want it for Archiving Camcorder Video and archiving the odd program off sky +
I cannot currently get Freeview in my area..... but undoubtedly it's around the corner...
My liteon is/was 2yr old.... and had performed well...![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Recommend away..... I will listen to ALL...........
I'm torn between buying a £50 DVD recorder and one of them Panasonics with it all..........
Cheers
Phil
