Hi all,
I know there is a similar thread on here at the moment but my circumstances are a little different. I work as a SEO consultant in Spain and hence get to build and manipulate lot's of websites also. I'm nearing the end of the natural life of my existing PC and am having a guy I know locally make up a custom set up for me.
Question is, which operating system. I want the PC to be future proof for maybe 18 months - 2 years so does that rule out XP? His opinion was this:
"Win XP media centre edition in English (XP pro without some odd networking stuff) or Vista ultimate edition. Not much difference in price. I would recommend XP as it will be a while until Vista is stable enough for mission critical stuff (service Pack 1 or after) "
Is there any known prob's with Vista yet? Would I be better sticking with XP Media for now? I also run a lappy with XP installed.
Opinions appreciated.
Russ
