Default OE6 and multiple PC's

I can receive the same E-mail on multiple PC's but when i send a mail, it's only on that particular PC.

How can i transfer sent mail into another PC's folders so i can refer to it if necessary?

You need either an exchange server (£££) or use IMAP email I think....

Is this for multiple users to see all outgoing mail or just you?

Can you not have a 'sent mail' POP3 box and BCC that address on any mail...

It's a desktop PC and a wireless laptop i use for home use, so is for all users.

I could send it to myself but becomes a pain having to delete where it's not necessary. (I get a lot of E-mails in a day)

But you said you have it sorted for receiving, so another mailbox that only you know the address and all outgoing BCCd to it would solve the problem wouldn't it?

You could have two accounts to send from, If it's not necessary then send from one that doesn't auto BCC and if you need it then send from the other....

Don't understand what you're meaning or even how to do what you're suggesting.

OE6 on my desktop has my E-mail account which i use to send and receive E-mails to that address.
I also have that account set up on my laptop, which means i can send and receive from that computer, but if i send a mail from either of those PC's it means the sent mail is only seen in the sent folder of that particular PC.

thats the problem with pop3 mail Alan - does your mail provider support imap ?

a mail server would sort your problems, I don't really deal with small office setups any more but i will have a dig around

Create a rule that says for any e-mail you send, bcc yourself automatically.
Create a rule that says anything sent to you BY you gets moved to "Sent Items" folder.

You may want to turn off the feature that puts items in your sent items folder else you'll get duplicates but I'd test the above works 1st as duplicates is better than none at all!

I don't know if sky does support imap, i'd doubt it right enough.

I'll have a look at setting up a rule if it allows what you're saying Dracoro and see what happens from there.

Don't be surprised if i come back to this thread..

Thanks chaps.
