ive never jumped so much in my life, some of the levels give me goosebumps

Yeah I've played it, in fact it was the second game I played on the 360. There certainly is some moments in the game which make you jump. How far have you got?

Personally, I think it's much worse than bioshock, (which wasn't really bad from a morale point of view if you follow the story)...

Scared of a computer game? Come on man, get a grip of yourself!
I remember cacking myself the first time I saw the T-Rex in 3d monster maze on the ZX81, my excuse though is that I was 13 at the time though

It wasn't to bad until the voice whispered "were going to kill you" as i wandered past a room,
(I was wearing headphones at the time, so it sounded like someone just whispered in my ear)
big eeeeeeekkk moment

Condemend was a pretty good game - not a patch on Bioshock. But the violence was pretty great... "arrrgggh you ****er" before whacking you round the face with a pipe wrench

Possibly, but I don't see that it's any worse than walking around hitting people with crowbars, or blowing people away with guns etc, all of which happens in practically every fps ever written. Mr VoteConservative has already said that Gear of War is one of his favourite games, and there's far more tasteless stuff in that game than in Bioshock imo...

Of course smacking someone round the head is morally (sp?) wrong but i think it's the image of harming young children makes it harsher as for Gears of Bore simply over the top, repetative violence imo.

I think we did
Technically in Bioshock of course you aren't harming children. You are dealing with a mutant form of life which was created from a child by the mad scientists, and in the game you go through and rescue them all
From a moral point of view, I still don't understand why this is any worse than promoting other forms of violence. But everyone is entitled to their opinion...
p.s. Have you seen the details for Condemned 2. Looks to be even spookier, (and gorier) than the first one

I'm not saying Bioshock is any less moral then other games just that the image of little girls injecting dead people to get stuff out is a bit freaky, no more than any horror movie i suppose, and i've done the 'other' ending as well .
Also in games where you do get to kill things it's a case of them trying to kill you so do morals apply?
I've seen the details to Condemned 2 and ,damn, it looks a lot freakier but perhaps that is good as i'm getting bored of of the wave of next gen games that are rehashes of games from earlier consoles.
