Default Facebook - no response to clicking ...

Hi all

Recently joined facebook and have found that when someone requests me as a "friend" I can neither accept or ignore. For instance, by clicking ACCEPT nothing happens.
In fact I'm unable to fully navigate around Facebook finding other clickys not working..
Is there something not set right on my PC?

Thanks

Nick

It did mention about Javascript whilst I was trying to join the site the other day. It took ages to join as it kept mentioning Javascript problems - can't remember what though. Not sure how I overcome it but managed to create an account in the end.

I could check Javascript but need pointing in the right direction please. I'm on AOL by the way.

my Zone Alarm in case that was blocking progress but it didn't make a difference.
